The Kerala Agricultural University
(KAU), Thrissur, in association with the Academic
Library Association (ALA) and Kerala Library Association (KAL), is organizing a National Seminar on “Teaching
Role of Librarians” and Technology Exhibition during 21-22 August 2015. Collaboration of the Kerala State Council for
Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is also expecting in this seminar
and exhibition.
Qualified librarians, library
education teachers and library science students can participate. Interested professionals can register upto 10th
August. Registration
is free and working lunch will be provided.
Expenses towards
accommodation and travel should be met by participants. Participants from
outside Kerala will provide rent free accommodation on first come first serve
basis, subject to the availability.
Towards this, the participants should
submit by e-mail at the time of registration a copy of an undertaking from the
head of the institution stating that the staff/student will be
deputed/permitted to attend the seminar. Unemployed participants
may produce this certificate signed by themselves.
