One day seminar on scholarly communication and best practices in research

Kerala Library Association, Kottayam Region and St. Berchmans College, Changanassery is going to 
organise a seminar on scholarly communication and best practices in research on 9 April 2015.

 The seminar is designed to enhance your academic communication skills, 
give awareness about plagiarism and share strategies to tackle plagiarism
threat.

SCOPE

The following topics will cover in the seminar:

How to write effective theses
Paraphrasing techniques  
How to avoid plagiarism
Plagiarism checking software
Reference Management tools
Research Evaluation Indicators

Faculty Members, Research scholars, M.Phil, PG students in all disciplines
and Library professionals.

DATE AND TIME:  9 April 2015; 9.30 am to 4.00 pm

REGISTRATION: Registration fee is Rs.200 for Research Scholars &  Students, 
Rs.300 for Faculty members & Library Professionals.

National Workshop on D-Space at KAU, Thrissur 27-28 March 2015

The Kerala Agricultural University, in collaboration with Academic Library Association is organising a Two Day National Workshop on Digital Library Management using D-Space in its Central Library at Main Campus, Thrissur during 27-28 March 2015. Only 40 professionals will be admitted.

No Registration fee

Expenses for food (Maximum Rs. 400/-), accommodation and travel should be borne by the participants. ?Subsidized accommodation can be provided at University Guest House.
